VETERANS BENEFITS ASSISTANCE
Alan Alford

Over the last three decades, Alan has become a leader within the veteran community. He has assisted tens of thousands of veterans, service members and their families to receive their benefits. He regularly lectures at numerous colleges, Pow Wow’s, health fairs, homeless shelters for veterans, and numerous gatherings where veterans will be meeting that are needing assistance with their benefits issues.
JOB PLACEMENT ASSISTANCE

Alan and Robin assist veterans with resume help, professional attire, and job placement for veterans nationwide. They have a network of employers with resources for hundreds of job openings. FFOHF can assist veterans with professional attire for job interviews.
HOUSING RELOCATION ASSISTANCE

Both Alan and Robin work directly with HUD VASH and SSVF to place veterans in housing in the Central Florida area. HUD VASH vouchers are issued through the VA Domiciliary to assist veterans with finding affordable housing.
FOOD ASSISTANCE

Food assistance is available for veterans needing help with obtaining groceries. Local food banks, and other food assistance programs are available FFOHF also offers veteran assistance with grocery shopping, and transportation to grocery stores. Assistance is also available for veterans that need help qualifying for food stamps.
TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE

FFOHF assists veterans with transportation to doctor appointments, job interviews, school, shopping and VA appointments.

At Michael’s Foundation, we welcome veterans and their families to participate in our FREE services, programs and events that are designed to support them through their post duty civilian lives. With funding made possible by our generous donors, Michael’s Foundation can provide engaging experiences in a safe and tranquil environment at no cost to the veterans and their families.
