WISH LIST
TRANSPORTATION
Fighting For Our Heroes assists veterans with transportation to doctor appointments, job interviews, school, shopping and VA appointments. Transportation for our veterans is a critical need that is ongoing. Vehicle, motorcycle, bicycle, and scooter donations are accepted. FFOHF is also in need of a U/Haul or moving truck.
FURNITURE
FFOHF assists veterans with furniture, bedding, bed frames, couches, chairs, tables, TV's, electronics, lamps, dressers, desks, TV stands, and other furnishings for their new housing. Donations are always welcome. Pick-up and drop-off can be arranged by contacting our office.
CLOTHING
Clothing is always needed for our veterans. Clothing for men and women of all sizes include; shirts, pants, shorts, pajamas, undergarments, socks, shoes, dresses, business attire, belts, ties, jewelry, fashion accessories, watches, hats, coats, jackets, rain gear, gloves, scarves, and reading glasses.
NON-PERISHABLE FOOD
We accept non-perishable food donations for our veterans in housing and homeless veterans. Canned food, crackers, cookies, canned meats, canned/pouch tuna, soup, coffee, tea, bottled water, gatorade, snacks, canned fruit, condiments, spices, and other non-perishable food items. Pop-top canned goods are helpful.
CAMPING SUPPLIES
Camping supplies are needed to assist homeless veterans. Sternos, camp stoves, grills, charcoal, backpacks, sleeping bags, air mattresses, camping chairs, cooking utensils, manual can openers, pots and pans, aluminum foil, coffee, flashlights, tarps, tents, blankets, pillows, first aid kits, MRE's, batteries, portable radios, towels, water jugs, dog and cat food, and all other camping supplies are accepted.
HOUSEHOLD ITEMS & HOUSEHOLD DECOR
Household items can be donated to help furnish veteran's dwellings. Microwaves, toaster ovens, pots, pans, utensils, dishes, bowls, cups, food storage containers, can openers, coffee makers, dish towels, sponges and other kitchen items are needed. Home decor items are also accepted. Pictures, vases, artwork, pillows, decorations, bed sheets, comforters, pillows, rugs, clothing hangers, clocks, and other home decor is accepted.
PERSONAL CARE ITEMS
Personal care items are always needed. We accept NEW personal hygiene supplies. Shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, lotions, soap, tooth brushes, toothpaste, denture cream, razors, shaving cream, wipes, Q-tips, lip balm, foot powder, body wash, sunscreen, feminine products, brushes, combs, hair accessories, and other personal care items.
